idea: In the past years
I have occupied myself with several languages, and I have
often asked myself, why do people waste so much time with
old-fashioned educational books.....
There’s this text from the 70’s, which tells
you how to send a telegram at the post-office. By the way,
when was the last time that you sent a telegram?
....or these books with pretty large pictures,
where one learns approximately one word per page.
You know the books like “...fill the gaps
with”, which are quite instructionally good, but let’s be
honest, who likes such exercises and who does it at all?
In my opinion, learning languages
can be amusing, and awake your curiosity about the country
and its people. Pocket German will certainly do this. The
best thing you can do, is just give it a try.
